Jay O’Callahan is one of North America’s foremost storytellers and one of his most famous stories – called the The Herring Shed – was inspired right in Pugwash. In 2011 he led a sold out, storytelling and creativity workshop designed
“to draw out characters from your inner galaxy. He will show how he finds a gesture, a moment, a phrase or an image, which swiftly tells the truth of a character. The workshop will be a time to bring characters alive. Jay will tell some short stories and use his “sparks” to draw out memories. This workshop is for everyone, not just storytellers, because we are all filled with stories.”
